Join us for a special in-person event hosted by our Translators Association (TA) for the chance to meet and mingle with fellow TA members and SoA staff.
Places are limited and subject to availability and are open to both SoA Members and non-members.
Wine and nibbles will be served.
As of February 2025, all SoA in-person social events, Lates, Coffee and Chat, and member lunch events will be £9.50 for SoA members and £19.50 for non-members. Attendees will enjoy refreshments and the unique opportunity to network with SoA members and staff.
This small charge means that our in-person events whether held in London or regionally can break even, helping us to host even more quality events for our members in the future. Not a member? Accessibility
- Our Events space is located on the ground floor of our office. We have a wheelchair ramp at the side entrance of the building. We also have an accessible toilet by the side entrance.

Feeling unwell?
We recommend the following:
- Staying home if you’re feeling unwell or have flu-like symptoms
- Washing your hands when coming in from the outdoors and / or before touching your face
- Applying alcohol hand sanitiser (we will have these on site)
- We advise attendees to wear a face mask if they feel comfortable doing so
