Join us for our Spring Members’ Lunch event held at our London offices on Bedford Row. Meet and mingle with SoA staff and fellow members, and hear a few words from SoA Fellow, Nicola Morgan.

The Line up
Nicola Morgan
Nicola Morgan, sometimes known as The Teenage Brain Woman, is a multi-award-winning author of fiction and non-fiction whose written and spoken work on young brains, psychology and mental health is loved by teenagers, schools and families around the world. In 2018 the School Library Association awarded her the Outstanding Contribution to Information Books. Her teenage novels have also won awards and she hopes to return to fiction one day. Nicola has served as Chair of both the Society of Authors in Scotland and the Children’s Writers and Illustrators Group and campaigns for authors’ rights to earn appropriately from their work, whether printed or spoken.

Our Events space is located on the ground floor of our office. We have a wheelchair ramp at the side entrance of the building. We also have an accessible toilet by the side entrance.
