This session is for writers of any genre who are curious about how self-led writer retreats can support creative practice, and eager to learn more about how to make the most of going on a writing retreat.

Julia Forster

Julia Forster runs the Writers’ Cabin, a self-led writer’s retreat in mid Wales. She is an author coach and writer development specialist who has worked in the publishing industry for 25 years, and is currently studying for a PhD in Creative Writing at Aberystwyth University. Her novel What a Way to Go was published by Atlantic Books in 2016.
