North West London Group first meet-up

Join the new SoA North West London Group for its first meet-up on Thursday 5 March from 7pm at Kensal Rise Library, Bathurst Gardens, London NW10 5EU.

This first meeting is for everyone to get to know one another and the local SoA community, make connections and exchange ideas. It is also to find out what members would like from the group and format of the sessions, so please come with your ideas to share. You can find more information about local groups and suggested meet-up topics here.

If time, with London Book Fair the following week, March 10 to 12, we can also share views on how members can benefit from visiting the Fair.

Organizer Lionel Bender is seeking another member to work with him to plan this group’s meet-ups. Anyone interested should speak to Lionel at this meeting.

Bring your own drinks and snacks — wine glasses, cups, mugs, and hot water will be available (bring your tea/coffee bags, alcoholic drinks also allowed). The toilet is wheelchair accessible, and there is free wi-fi.

If you know of local writers who may be interested in the group, do invite them along. They can attend up to two meetings before being asked to join the SoA to continue attending.

Kensal Rise Library is within walking distance of Kensal Rise Station (Mildmay Line) and Kensal Green Station (Bakerloo + Lioness Line) and bus routes 6, 18, 28, 52, and 187. There is free residential street parking in the area but spaces are limited.
