Manchester Group: Query Letters Part 2

4 April @ 10:00 - 12:00 BST

Free

Join the Manchester Group on Friday 4 April from 10am for their next meet-up to discuss submissions to agents and publishers.

In Part 1, agented and multi-published crime novelist E.M. Powell took you through the process of submitting your novel to an agent. We looked at where to find reputable agents/publishers and the elements of a strong query letter and synopsis.

This time Peter Williams, author of fifteen published titles in the education sector and will explain how to write a non-fiction book proposal.

Peter and Elaine will be assisting members as we break into small groups put it all into practice. Members are strongly encouraged to bring any letters they have already written with them so we can help them improve.

We’ll meet at Social Refuge, 27 Great Ancoats Street, Manchester, M4 5AJ.

All members welcome! The Social Refuge kindly lets us meet in the bookshop for free, so if you’re able to please consider supporting them by purchasing a book on the day.
