For the safety of members and staff this year’s Annual General Meeting will be hosted on Zoom only.

With your Autumn edition of The Author we shared an invitation to our ‘hybrid’ AGM, available online via Zoom, and with a strictly limited number of seats available to join us in person at our London event space.

As the health crisis progresses, and the Government introduces more stringent national and localised rules, we have reviewed our plans for the in-person element of the event. The Government has amended the Corporate Insolvency and Governance Act 2020, enabling companies and certain other qualifying bodies (including English/Welsh CIOs) to hold online AGMs until 30 December 2020.

To put the safety of SoA staff and members first, the Management Committee has voted to hold the 2020 AGM online. The date and time are unchanged. The meeting will take place on Thursday 19 November 2020 at 5:00pm. Click here for full details
