Silvano Griffith-Francis is an author, playwright, screenwriter and speaker with a passion for telling stories that inspire, encourage and entertain. After studying Creative Writing and Writing for the Media and spending several years working at the BBC, she chose to pursue a full-time creative career.

Her work spans children’s fiction, memoir, stage and screen. She is the creator of the Kala series of Christian children’s books, which help young readers explore faith, kindness and everyday life through colourful, engaging stories. She is also the author of Questher: The Lord on My Side, a powerful true story of faith, resilience and transformation.

Alongside her own writing, Silvano coaches aspiring authors, delivers writing workshops and masterclasses, and speaks at conferences, schools and community events. She is passionate about helping others find the confidence to tell their own stories.

When she isn’t writing, you’ll usually find her planning her next adventure. Having travelled to more than 80 countries, she draws inspiration from the people, cultures and experiences she encounters around the world.
