Two titles published several years back through a small house (Big Finish): After the Break-Up: A Girl’s Guide and Plastering Over the Cracks – These were narrative non-fiction/self-help and ‘semi’-fiction.

Other writing includes the WOZ Blog, for Andrew Lloyd Webber, a feature article in Kent on Sunday, and theatre related pieces for the Scunthorpe Evening Telegraph and Stage Door Mag.

I’m a (neurodiverse) London based professional actor/singer and voice over, originally from The Grim North (N. Lincolnshire), and I’ve worked in the West End and throughout the UK. I’m now a mum, to five-year-old Frankie. Stories are our life blood at home. I am immersed, daily, in interactive role-play and bedtime storytelling. Something that goes hand-in-hand with this is volunteering at my child’s school bringing stories to life using my voice over and acting skills, working with small groups using interactive storytelling as an intervention to help under confident children develop their voice.

A member of Jericho Writers, I’m working on an upper YA fantasy with romance duology, a bubbly middle grade cosy mystery and shaping initial thoughts for an early readers series and a commercial women’s first person comedy.

I shall be bringing my storytelling life together under Carrie’s Story Corner which will include a platform for engaging and entertaining read aloud performances of children’s books, with of course recommendations.
