Warwickshire Group: Our Voices

All members welcome to join the Warwickshire Group on Wednesday 16 September 2026 from 7.30 – 9pm for ‘Our Voices’: a new event aimed at sharing ‘tasters’ of the varied work represented by the Warwickshire group.

Members can share a taster of their own work and will have 5 minutes to do so, including a very brief introduction. Any form of writing is welcome. Celia Rees will chair the evening and control the timings! (For prose, 5 minutes should allow for 500-550 words read at a steady pace.)

Do come along, even if you only want to listen.

The event will be in The Okens Room at The Oddfellows Hall, 22 New Street, Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, CV31 1HP.

There won’t be formal feedback but feel free to chat about each other’s contributions during refreshments or after the event.

There will be a break at ‘half-time’ for tea, coffee and biscuits. Please have some coins to contribute towards this.

Celia also aims to run a brief discussion at the end of the evening about future events. Come with any ideas/opinions.
