Z.R.R. Beatham is a South African author of science fiction, fantasy, crime, and LitRPG. A lifelong fan of speculative fiction, Zayne first fell in love with storytelling through books – but it was the visual spectacle of sci-fi and fantasy that led him into the world of visual effects and game development. If no one else could bring his imagination to life on screen, he figured he’d learn to do it himself.

It never occurred to him that the written word could do the job just as powerfully – until he wrote his first chapter. That was all it took to get hooked. Now, when he’s not writing, Zayne is usually enjoying a good movie or computer game, or getting bossed around by his daughters in a costume tea party.
