Join the Tufnell Park Writers for their next meeting on Wednesday 2 September from 7pm at The Lord Palmerston, 33 Dartmouth Park Hill, London NW5 1HU. For this meeting, Jonathan Pollock will be talking to us about his book A Short History of Neurosurgery in the UK and Ireland: Influences, Founders and Units and his publishing experiences so far. Prepare to be enthralled as he shares some personal anecdotes and fascinating insights into his world.
Jonathan Pollock is a consultant neurosurgeon at Essex Neurosciences Centre, Queens Hospital and Joint Archivist at the Society of British Neurological Surgeons, with a focus on tumours of the brain and skull base and the treatment of trigeminal neuralgia. He has presented and published widely on the history and development of neurosurgery.
