I am primarily a writer of literary, YA and Children’s fiction, with my debut novel (Un été pour respirer) having just published in France. I am currently working on my second novel, and tentatively playing around with a screenplay…

I am also an illustrator, having graduated from the prestigious MA in Children’s Book Illustration at Cambridge School of Art in 2019. I have illustrated both full children’s books and graphic novels, and have undertaken various commissions, most recently including some cover design work for Cambridge University Press, and also a fully-illustrated special edition of The Best of Shakespeare (Cambridge University Press, forthcoming).

In my alternate life, I work full-time as an Assistant Editor in Classics at an academic publishing house, and have a wealth of experience in editing and proofreading academic (and heavily illustrated) monographs, textbooks and trade books. I’m also a bit obsessed with Classics, as you’ll see from several of my illustrations…!
