I am an independent Scottish author writing epic dark fantasy with grimdark elements. My work is set in Azangrail, an expansive world shaped by fallen gods, divided faiths, ancient races and the consequences of power.

I am also the founder of House Gloomborne Ltd, the independent publishing company through which I manage the publication, production and promotion of my novels.

Areas of Expertise

My principal areas of interest are long-form dark fantasy storytelling, worldbuilding and the development of interconnected characters, cultures, beliefs and histories. My fiction explores themes including faith, vengeance, loyalty, political ambition and the personal cost of decisions.

Alongside writing, I have had to develop practical experience in independent publishing, including manuscript development, print and ebook production, cover and interior formatting, publishing metadata, distribution, author websites, newsletters and book-launch planning.

Current and Upcoming Projects

My debut novel, Relic Reborn, is the first volume of The Prophecy Series and is scheduled for publication in September 2026. It begins a six-book epic fantasy series following the return of an exiled god and the search for the shattered remains of a powerful divine relic.

I am currently developing several further works set within Azangrail. These include Forgotten One, the second novel in The Prophecy Series, and Deadly Shadows, a companion novel exploring the origins of two prominent characters from the main series.

Further novels, companion stories and interconnected series are planned as part of a long-term publishing programme expanding the history, conflicts and mythology of Azangrail.
