Angela is an author of “compelling and extensively researched” historical fiction, having had her debut novel, The Rose of Florence, published by Romaunce Books Ltd in 2023. She was runner up for the Romantic Novelists’ Association’s Joan Hessayon Award in 2023. Her second book, Hiding the Flame, was published in 2025, and she is currently working on her third novel, also based in Florence.

She has expanded her repertoire to include children’s books, currently focusing on the Early Readers age range. Her inspiration is her garden and the creatures (real and fantasy) who live there. Reviews of her adult fiction have praised the immersive quality of her writing, allowing the reader to feel present in her fictional world. It is this quality of writing, along with a gently whimsical imagination that she brings to her children’s stories.
