Writing isn’t always the day job where you sit down, everything clicks, the words flow, and the pages multiply. There is the dreaded writer’s block when the brain freezes. There are days you look at everything you’ve written and wonder why anyone else would want to read it. There is the afternoon spent rewriting everything you wrote that morning. You get lost immersing yourself in research, completely forgetting what you were looking for in the first place. Then, before you know it, you’re glancing at your watch and the day is over.

I’m learning and discovering things about myself and about publishing — the intricacies of editing, developing cover art, writing blurbs and synopses, engaging with other authors and readers, and interpreting reviews.
