Christopher Lee-Power is an actor, writer, director and producer. Alongside his work in film and television, he is a published author and storyteller with a strong focus on memoir, lived experience writing and social commentary.
In 2008, he wrote his autobiography, which was published by John Hunt Publishing, marking his first major published work. Since then, he has continued to develop his writing across multiple forms, including journalism, personal essays and dramatic writing. He has also written his own stage play.
For the past year and a half, he has been a contributing writer for North West Bylines, producing articles on social change, memory and contemporary life. His recent work includes reflections on how technology—particularly mobile phones—has reshaped human connection compared with the 1980s and earlier family life.
Alongside his writing, he is an experienced actor with extensive theatre credits, including classical and Shakespearean work, as well as stage performance and rehearsal practice. He continues to work across film and television.
Recent screen work includes playing Dr Lanford in *A Different Michael Myers*, and Colin Jarvis in *For Love’s Sake*, which is available on Amazon Prime.
He has also recently wrapped filming on additional projects and continues to build a varied screen career.
He is a speaker with the Great British Speakers Bureau, delivering talks on resilience, mental health and lived experience.
His wider media appearances include BBC Breakfast, BBC Morning Live, BBC Inside Out, The One Show, Channel 5, radio and podcasts, where he has spoken about his personal journey, social issues and transformation.
