Halo, is mise Mòrag!

I’m a native Gaelic speaker, originally from the island of Colonsay and subsequently brought up on the Isle of Skye and in Argyllshire. My Gaelic writing career began with editing a collection of my mother’s Gaelic magazine articles and I now concentrate  primarily on fiction – principally aimed at advanced Gaelic learners or fluent speakers wanting to develop their reading skills. I’ve also been involved in bi-lingual spoken word/musical projects.

In 2017, I won a Scottish Book Trust/Gaelic Books Council New Writers’ Award.
