Human Authored is a labelling scheme that authors can take part in if they want to show their book has been ‘human written’ without the use of generative AI.  

Authors can sign up to the scheme if they are a member of the Society of Authors. Once registered they sign an agreement to say their work adheres to the definition of Human Authored. On completion, their work is added to a searchable database. They are also entitled to use an exclusive Human Authored digital logo on their qualifying books, demonstrating that the text is their own intellectual creation, produced through human skill, labour and judgment.
