Lisa manages a portfolio career, blending her role as a director for a FTSE 100 company with her passion for writing, learning, speaking and teaching.
Lisa is foremost a people-person and her writing style reflects her compassion and empathy. With a belief in kindness and fairness, Lisa leads as she writes – advocating for health, wellbeing and work that supports meaning and purpose. In her corporate role Lisa has evidenced the real benefits to individuals and organisations of ‘conscious leadership’. It was this approach that lead to the writing and publication of her first book, The Mindfulness Habit, build your calm day-by-day (Pearson, 2024).
Lisa is committed to giving back, and she finds joy, connection and meaning in volunteering – as a local Community Champion, a workplace mentor, teaching mindfulness for the NHS and supporting young people with exam anxiety, study techniques and career advice.
As a qualified wellbeing and mindfulness teacher, with an academic background in psychology and neuroscience, Lisa creates and leads educational sessions and is always writing and delivering new courses and webinars, she also facilitates weekly mindfulness groups.
Her next project is an online wellbeing course for those struggling with stress, overwhelm and anxiety at work.
