The Line-up

Ruth Millington

Ruth Millington is an art historian, curator, broadcaster and author, specialising in modern and contemporary art. Her first book MUSE (Vintage) uncovers the inspiring real-life stories of figures in famous portraits, while This Book Will Make You An Artist (Nosy Crow) encourages younger readers to be creative by taking inspiration from the world’s greatest masterpieces. She has presented several documentaries, including ‘Painting with Scissors’ for BBC Radio 4, which tells the overlooked yet radical story of collage art.
