Kristina Rahim is a children’s author who writes middle grade novels about friendships, being true to yourself and diverse family set-ups. Her stories shine a light on the world of donor conception, demystifying the topic for young people.
Her debut novel, THE DOUGHNUT CLUB, was shortlisted for the BOOKS ARE MY BAG READERS AWARD 2025 in the Children’s Fiction category, and has been longlisted for the BRANFORD BOASE AWARD 2026.
Kristina’s second novel, MAX AND ELLA, STUCK TOGETHER, also published by Nosy Crow, is due for publication in the UK in May 2026, and later in that same year for the US and Australia.
Kristina lives in London with her wife and two daughters. Before writing, she worked in the property industry, building homes out of disused garages and scraps of land. She now spends her days building middle grade novels.
Visiting schools, libraries, bookshops and meeting young readers is a huge perk of being a children’s author.
Kristina is an Empathy Lab trained author, and can offer school events best suited for Years 5, 6 and 7. Please contact her directly, either through the SOA, or via her website at www.kristinarahim.com
