Jade Mitchell is a writer and poet based in Glasgow, Scotland.

She holds an MLitt in Creative Writing from the University of Strathclyde, where she was the recipient of the Brian Hamill Common Breath prize. She is a Scottish Book Trust New Writers Awardee in Fiction and Non-Narrative Fiction (2025).

Her short fiction was shortlisted for the Bloomsbury Mentorship Programme 2024–25, and her poetry has appeared in online publications such as Moist Poetry Journal and Untitled Writing.

Jade is currently working on her first short story collection.
