Kain Stockton is a London-based writer and multidisciplinary artist from Teesside.

In 2025, he was selected from a pool of over 2,400 applicants for Penguin Random House UK’s award-winning programme WriteNow. WriteNow seeks out, nurtures, and publishes new writers from under-represented communities in UK and Irish publishing.

He is currently crafting his debut, a speculative science-fiction novel that blends horror and heart. The Cult of Immortality follows a missing person’s detective who unravels a sinister government conspiracy whilst tracking down a man who has returned from the dead.
