Self-Publishers Network: Building your author brand using social media

Join the Self-Publishers Network on Wednesday 4 March from 10.30am for a member-led discussion on building your author brand using social media. We will consider questions such as: What platforms do you use? Do you have your own strategy or a plan of how you want to promote yourself?

We will go into small groups using breakout rooms on Zoom for you to meet fellow members, chat and share advice. We’ll run two rounds of rooms for around 20 minutes each so you can meet a variety of authors, then at the end we will feed back to the main group.

Meeting structure

• 10 minutes – Welcome and housekeeping, answering any initial questions
• 20 minutes – Breakout room to chat with members in smaller groups
• 10 minutes – Catch up and remix the rooms
• 20 minutes – Breakout room to chat with members in smaller groups
• 30 minutes – Feed back to the main group, closing discussion
