Sevenoaks and Tunbridge Wells Group: The Writing Life

Join the Sevenoaks and Tunbridge Wells Group on Thursday 19 February from 5.30pm (talk starts at 6pm) for their session on ‘The Writing Life: Practice, Purpose and Persistence.’

In this practical and uplifting session with novelist and founder of The Writing Coach, Jacqui Lofthouse, we’ll consider how we can stay inspired, focused and committed as writers in the long term. Jacqui will share simple strategies to keep you engaged with your writing, tackle resistance, and sustain momentum – from building productive creative routines to managing priorities and preserving your creative energy. Whatever stage you’re at with your writing project, this talk offers encouragement, clarity and actionable approaches to help your words flow and your ideas take shape.

We’ll also touch on the realities of the writing marketplace, offering a fresh and grounded perspective on industry awareness and the realities of publishing. Come away refreshed, motivated and equipped to write with confidence and purpose, and with a renewed sense of why you first fell in love with the page.
