I translate from German and Russian into English, primarily fiction. However, I have also previously worked on commercial and creative texts, documents, websites, contracts, handwritten letters and mobile games. I also provide book reports and sample translations and have worked with publishers, literary agencies and organisations such as New Books in German, London Literary Scouting, Penguin Random House, Quercus Books, Moth Books and Pushkin Press.

My latest literary projects have included two thrillers (Death DNA and The Devil’s Playbook by Markus Heitz, a SPIEGEL-bestselling author). I am currently working on a few new and exciting book projects that are due to be published this summer.

My qualifications include a BA in German and Russian from the University of Sheffield, an MA in Translation and Interpreting from the University of Bath, and a range of CPD courses, workshops and conferences, including the Bristol Translates Summer School (2024). I was also awarded the 2024 ITI German Network bursary. Prior to moving to London and becoming a full-time literary and creative translator, I worked in-house for a translation company in Leeds.
