A Gregory-Award winning poet and performer since 1996, with collections published by Bloodaxe, Salt Publishing, Nine Arches Press and Heaventree, Jane has been Warwick Poet Laureate and tutored for the Arvon Foundation among others, with many festival appearances. She has edited literary magazines and imprints, including her own Blade Poetry magazine in the 90’s, and was Editor-in-Chief of the online arts magazine from Salt Publishing, Horizon Review, 2009-2011.

She has also published over 70 novels since 1998, from various publishers including Sceptre, Transworld, Random House Children’s Books, Hodder & Stoughton, Harlequin Teen, Sourcebooks US, Ulverscroft, Avon Books, HarperCollins etc. Increasingly hybrid, she also independently publishes novels and short fiction under a range of pseudonyms. 

Her fiction pseudonyms include Betty Walker (most notably the multiple RNA award-nominated Cornish Girls wartime saga series with Avon Books), Victoria Lamb (RNA Award Winner in 2013 for Best Young Adult Romantic Novel with Witchstruck), Beth Good, Elizabeth Moss, Hannah Coates, and she also publishes bestselling crime fiction and thrillers as Jane Holland.

She also writes screenplays and scripts, and is available for tutoring and festival appearances.
