I am a translator and language editor, born and educated in the UK and based in Prague.

As a translator, my specialisms include art and culture, theology and religious history, social and cultural history, and Jewish studies. I have extensive experience of translating and co-translating academic monographs, research papers and journal articles, funding applications, museum exhibitions and catalogue material. My primary source languages are German and Italian, but I can also translate from Russian, Spanish, French and Portuguese.

I provide specialist language editing to academics and non-fiction authors writing in English across the humanities, social sciences and beyond. I work in close collaboration with each of my clients to ensure that the final product, whether book, article or dissertation, expresses their own argument in their own voice. I am also happy to act as a second pair of eyes to professional translators, especially for texts that require historical and/or theological expertise.
