I am a retired police officer of 31 years service and a life long genealogy obsessive. After leaving the police I undertook training in acting and am on the beautiful slog of finding work in that field. 

I have always enjoyed writing, even if that were court reports and found myself enjoying writing family history chronologies. Whilst conducting some family history research i came across a mass murder in Amesbury Wiltshire, and after seeing the limited information available set about fully researching and wrote a book called Six Little Heads- The 1905 Amesbury Murders. 

In between trying to get more acting work I am actively searching out subject matter for the next book which will be another non fiction book.
