I’m an award-winning literary translator and editor working from Portuguese, Spanish and Italian into English. My areas of expertise lie in literary and commercial fiction, short stories and poetry—as well as literary and creative non-fiction—and my clients range from commercial to indie publishers, scouts and agents. I have a sharp eye and a natural flair for language, and I work scrupulously to make a text sing in English, whether that’s through translation, copy editing or line editing. My background is in education—as a Lead Practitioner, Specialised Leader in Education, coach and mentor—which makes me a proactive, consistent, and creative wordsmith and collaborator, adaptable to different contexts, projects and working parameters.
