I initially attended secretarial college in Devon, gaining my Pitman’s qualifications while working for a local solicitor.  With an additional care assistant job at weekends, later full-time, I then qualified as a District Nurse and practised in Somerset and Wiltshire.  I walked my first Camino at 50, retired and commenced an MA in Creative Nonfiction with the Open University.   I have been part of a local writing community for the past 15 years.   Writing mainly poetry, memoir and social history, all of my work has been for community projects and anthologies to raise funds for charity.
