A narrative non-fiction memoir following a deeply personal journey from the UK to New Zealand after the death of my father. Blending travel, grief, unexplainable coincidences, complicated family dynamics, and the breathtaking landscapes of the Forgotten World Highway, the book explores what binds families together—and what lingers after a loved one is gone.

Sail Away to Start Again
My next book explores the remarkable true story of my three-times-great grandparents, who left Somerset in 1842 to start a new life in New Zealand. Drawing on surviving diary entries, press clippings, and a detailed family history, the novel based on a true story, will follow their perilous voyage and the immense challenges of building a home, community, and future from nothing. It’s a story of hope, hardship, tragedy, and triumph. It will be an epic reimagining of one family’s leap into the unknown.
