Hello! I’m Pictii

I am a comics creator and illustrator based in the North-East of Scotland, and my work is often inspired by folklore, fantasy, and spirituality. I particularly enjoy exploring themes of disability and transformation in the stories and characters I create.

Published Work

  • Tidal Dreams (2025) – A 4-page autobiographical mini-comic about the interaction of identity as an artist with chronic illness. This comic is featured in Mind Over Margins: Empowerment Edition published by Marginal Publishing.
  • A Place to Rest (2025) – A 9-page mini-comic about a woman and her cat, exploring themes of companionship and loss. This comic is featured in Volume 4 of the critically acclaimed BOXES comic anthology published by Third Bear Press.
  • Autumn Leaves (2025) – A 28-page silent comic about an oak leaf fairy’s first brush with Autumn. Self-published.

Ongoing Projects

  • Journal comics (2024-present) – A series of online scrappy comics detailing various thoughts and ramblings from daily life. These follow no particular format or update schedule and are just made in whatever style and medium I feel like at the time. They can be read on my website or social media, both of which are linked in my profile.

Upcoming Projects

  • ‘Saviour’ [working title] – A black-and-white fantasy horror comic about Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Scheduled to be self-published in Autumn 2026.
