I am an award-winning author and poet based in Newcastle upon Tyne, and my work focuses on the intersection of disability, neurodivergence and trauma.

My work has been published with Summersdale Publishing (‘365 Days of Healing’) and Unbound (‘No One Talks About This Stuff’), as well as online-based organisations including BuzzFeed UK and ArtWeb. I collaborate with local theatres and libraries providing creative writing workshops to adults, teens and children, and have written for both Ladybird and Seven Stories.

I am an Emerging Creative Associate with New Writing North, and was the recipient of a Developing Your Creative Practice (DYCP) grant from ACE in 2022. I am currently working on my debut sci-fi novel, ‘Out of Your Depth’, about a man who grows octopus arms when his skin touches saltwater!

My poems have been published with New Writing North, Haiku Crush, The Customs House (as runner-up to The Terry Kelly Poetry Prize 2022), and Tour de Moon. I also work with a number of disabled-led charities (CRIPtic Arts, Pathfinders Neuromuscular Alliance, etc.) as well as Arts Council England, providing access support to disabled/neurodivergent artists.

I possess a Master’s degree in English Literature from Newcastle University, with my academic specialism being in unfiction: a form of transmedia, digital storytelling.
