Italy Group online meet up

Join the Italy Group for an online meet-up on Thursday 19 June from 9pm (CEST) to hear from Katherine Gregor on her work as a writer and translator of Italian.

Katherine has translated Italian classics and contemporary work, including Luigi Pirandello, Francesca Melandri and Alberto Angela. She was born in Rome, where she lived on and off for twelve years, spending six years also in France before moving to England in 1988. Katherine is now based in Norwich. She translates from Italian and French and writes plays and fiction of her own as well as running the blog Scribe Doll. She also created and wrote for two years the monthly column The Italianist, which focuses on Italian books not yet translated into English.
