West Midlands Group meet-up

Join the West Midlands Group on Friday 23 May from 1.30pm to hear from Nigel Oakley about his career and writing life.

Originally a ‘Shropshire Lad’, Nigel has long harboured ambitions to be a writer. However, life intervened, and the later 1980s saw him teaching Maths in Botswana. On returning to the UK, he continued teaching for a while before going to Durham to get a PhD in Theology and working for Durham Diocese as their World Development Officer.

Now living in Lichfield, Nigel writes a short story each month, some of which end up on his website and is scribbling away at his second story about Podevin and Emma.
