Joshua Jones (he/him) is a queer, disabled writer & artist from Llanelli, South
Wales. His short story collection, Local Fires (Parthian, 2023) was shortlisted for the Dylan Thomas Prize & Polari First Book Prize. His fiction and poetry have been widely published by The London Magazine, Folding Rock, Gutter, Poetry Wales, and others. He has been anthologised by Lucent Dreaming, Arachne Press, Broken Sleep Books, etc. He was the editor of Room/Ystafell/Phóng, a collaboration between Welsh and Vietnamese LGBTQ+ writers & artists.
His poetry pamphlets include A Fistful of Flowers in collaboration with Caitlin Flood-Molyneux (2022), Three Months in the Zebra Room (Hello America Stereo Cassette, 2024), and The City on Film (Bread and Roses, 2024).
He is currently working on his debut novel, I Left, and his debut poetry collection.
