Scottish Islands Group: Travel Guides with Laurie Goodlad

Join the Scottish Islands Group online on Tuesday 29 April from 7pm for a talk from Shetlander Laurie Goodlad about the work involved in producing her travel guide to Shetland. 

 Laurie Goodlad is a Shetland-based travel writer, tour guide, and author of Shetland: Your Essential Travel Guide, launched in August 2024. Through her engaging travel blog, she shares destination inspiration, expert travel tips, and insights into Shetland’s rich history and landscapes. Laurie also writes for top publications, including Lonely Planet, where she contributes to the Scotland guidebooks.
