Alexandra Lazar is a writer and art historian. She read History of Art at the Courtauld Institute, Arts Management City St George’s and has a background in Fine Arts from the University of Arts in Belgrade. Having worked in the arts for over twenty years, Alexandra is interested in creating and supporting compelling narratives that connect artistic work to cultural, social and historical contexts. Inspired by philosophy and humanism, she is passionate about the political and ethical world, and the complexity and necessity of divergent thought. Her essays on art, nature, time and memory are published in several anthologies and over fifty exhibition catalogues. Her third monograph will be published in summer 2025.
