Jon Harley is a writer from Yorkshire. He writes novels, short stories and non-fiction essays, and returns most often to the intersection of LGBT+ issues and Northeast life.

Jon was an early adopter of social media, embracing email and forums from 1986 onwards. He published his first website in 1994. As a bisexual activist in those days when the internet was a lot smaller, he was once introduced when speaking at a conference as a “famous internet bisexual”.

Jon is a veteran of the IT industry and has strong opinions about current trends in “AI”. He’s an enthusiastic amateur at photography, typography and cartography.
