My working life was as an English teacher, writing as a hobby or for family. I had the occasional poem published in anthologies, but since retiring, I’ve had two novels published by Between the Lines Publishing – “Shadow of Time” and “Nana Boo” –  and flash fiction, micro-fiction and poetry published online e.g by Cranked Anvil, Flash Fiction North, Paragraph Planet and Roi Faineant. With my sister, I collaborated on a creative non-fiction memoir of post-war 1950s childhood – “Remnants of War” – and I’ve had CNF published online by Dear Damsels and Boomers. My third novel has been accepted for publication.
I currently chair a writing group in Clevedon, Somerset, and co-judge the Clevedon LitFest short story competition.
