MA hons, a first, Edinburgh University language and literature. National newspaper journalist, campaigning for animals, the environment, doing series of theme based interviews, such as policework, lottery winners, surrogate mothers. More than a decade of big name interviews with stars like Angelina Jolie, Freddy Mercury, De Caprio, Amy Winehouse, George Michael, Donald Sutherland, Rod Stewart, David Beckham’s father, to name a few. Lived in Venice for 4 months a year, over 4 years, to write my first novel, Behind the Mirror. My second novel, All the People We Are is a loosely-tied sequel set on the remote Cycladic island of Folegandros. I have recently completed my third novel, The Shed, based in Berlin through the ’30s and Southern Rhodesia through the ’60’s, a gripping and powerful romantic thriller. I have a prestigious UK agent, Jason Bartholomew of The Books Agency. We are actively seeking a  top-class publisher. I also have a Non Fiction book of my major interviews, as yet unseen, with some of the big showbiz names mentioned above.
