I have always worked with children, teens and parents, first in my career in Qualitative Market Research and then as a therapist. The roles were quite similar in terms of the skills of listening, understanding and figuring out what was needed to resolve a problem.

My books are for those who are responsible for the care of children and teens: parents, teachers, coaches, counsellors, social workers and anyone interested in helping children be who they want to be.

I know as a mother of four children and three grandchildren that family life is hectic, challenging and confusing. No parent thinks they have it sorted. No children are the same and they have a habit of changing just as you think you’re managing!

So my books are easy reads with plenty of examples from my practice, from the kids themselves and from parents.

Their nature is practical with ideas, exercises, space to write answers to questions, quizzes and ‘how to’ sections.

There are textbooks for the professionals and workbooks of a lighter nature for parents looking for solutions.

I am active on You Tube, I have a podcast “Understanding children and teens’, Instagram and Facebook.

I have one audiobook and I am in the process of producing more and updating my back catalogue.
