Gareth L. Powell is an award-winning British novelist, whose work has been translated into eleven languages. The author of twenty-two books, thirteen of which are novels, he is a bestselling author in several countries around the world.

Powell’s novel, Embers of War, won the British Science Fiction Association Award for Best Novel and was a finalist for the Locus and Seiun Awards. His novel, Ack-Ack Macaque also won the British Science Fiction Association Award for Best Novel and was a finalist for the Seiun Award.
