With a specialisation in music and the arts and an academic background as a linguist, I have been providing English translations from French, German, Italian and Russian (programme notes and song texts) for 25 years for a variety of concert venues and classical recording labels as well as subtitles for opera DVDs.

I started my career as a multilingual translator at an international organisation in Prague, and today I work also as a freelance copyeditor of books on music, art, history and the humanities.

Clients include the Barbican Centre, BBC, British Museum, Les Arts Florissants, Orchestra della Svizzera italiana, Outhere Music, Royal Ballet and Opera, Thames & Hudson, Victoria & Albert Museum, White Label Productions and Yale University Press.
