I am an independent scholar living in Oxford. I published his first book in 1980 and have since published over a hundred titles on Myth, Folklore, and ancient traditions. I have worked in the Film industry as an historical advisor and won a BAFTA for my work on the movie King Arthur (2004). I have made a lifetime study of every aspect of the Arthurian legends, from its origins to modern retellings, and wrote a New York Times bestselling book on piracy. I have written novels for children, created tarot and oracle decks, explored ancient mysteries, written scrips for tv and film, and lead workshops on shamanism, tarot and esotericism.
