In Week Nine of the SoA @ Home Festival, and on the day of our 2020 SoA Awards announcement, Children’s Laureate Cressida Cowell invited us round for tea, shared insights into what she’s currently working on, and how she is adapting to working through the lockdown.

The current Waterstones Children’s Laureate, Cressida Cowell, is the author-illustrator of How to Train Your Dragon – also a film and TV franchise – and The Wizards of Once series. Cressida is a trustee of World Book Day, a patron of Read for Good, and an ambassador for the National Literacy Trust. She has won numerous prizes for her work.
