The British Library is looking for authors to volunteer to give feedback on the PLR website. The sessions will last for one hour and will take place on Wednesday 6 June and Thursday 12 July in London.

The British Library is planning a range of improvements to Public Lending Right (PLR), to put it on a footing that will ensure its continued growth and development. One aspect of these improvements is centred around ways in which the registration process can be made more efficient.

Staff working on PLR are looking for a mix of unregistered and registered volunteers with varying degrees of IT knowledge to give up an hour of their time to provide feedback on the current PLR website. They will be asking volunteers to run through some key user journeys relating to the registration process, and the responses from these sessions will feed into the development of the new PLR system. It is therefore an important opportunity for authors to help shape the future of PLR.

The sessions will take place on Wednesday 6 June and Thursday 12 July at the British Library in London. They will last for 1 hour and will run from:

10.00 – 11.00

11.15 – 12.15

13.00 – 14.00

14.15 – 15.15

If anyone is interested in helping out and coming along to one of the sessions, please email the British Library at plrauthorservices@bl.uk to find out more.
