Solomon is categorised as a ‘driver’ of the industry, affecting change and ‘consistently moving the industry forward’:

Luckily, the people largely responsible for the creation of our multibillion-pound industry have Solomon and the SoA to go to bat for them. This year, Solomon and the SoA’s president Philip Pullman and chair Daniel Hahn have lobbied hard to protect authors from onerous and unfair contracts and greater protection for Public Lending Right.
