Jonathan Peace is a husband, cat-dad and professionally trained cinema projectionist.
He has been writing for over 30 years, writing background and world development for several tabletop games companies, including the tie-in fantasy novel, The Bloodstone Of Cerillion, for Mantic Games. He has also written several screenplays, with the horror Brexit-Babe recently placing in the quarter-finals of Stage 32 Microbudget Horror Script Competition 2020. Jonathan wrote the sci-fi horror film The Rift (2012) for Vantis Pictures, released the same year.
A voracious reader of crime, Jonathan put his cinematic writing talents towards penning his first crime novel, DIRTY LITTLE SECRET, book one of the BLOODY OSSETT! series of novels. This landed him the Peter James Bursary from the Crime Writers’ Association, resulting in a full membership to the CWA. His is currently writing the second in the series, FLESH AND BONE.
A Yorkshire lad at heart, Jonathan sets his novels in a fictionalised version of his hometown during the 1980’s. He now lives and works out of his home in Derbyshire, where he shares his writing office with his author wife, Lucy, and their three cats.
